Overview
Work environment: 40 hours per week. High call volume and fast paced work environment. Job site is located in CFG’s corporate headquarters in Marlton. Primary responsibility is to manage all intake calls for the Center for Family Guidance outpatient department. Works directly with the Intake Coordinator and reports administratively to the CFG Outpatient Office Manager.
Responsibilities
The job responsibilities include:
Full time Outpatient Intake Representative responsible to provide dedicated telephone coverage for the outpatient department, this will also include covering all website intake request forms.
Answer all intake inquiry calls live and returning of calls from the website intake request forms.
Screen all intake inquiry calls to insure new patients are assigned to the appropriate clinician.
Ensure that all insurance is verified and whenever necessary obtain all insurance authorizations.
Obtain all demographic information, insurance information, basic clinical information and schedule appointments for patients with the appropriate clinicians in Carelogic
Keep detailed statistics on activities and produce monthly reports
Work directly with the Outpatient Intake Coordinator.
Qualifications
High school diploma.
Knowledge of health insurances required.
One year of working in a behavioral health or medical office environment required.
Must be able to work in a high call volume environment.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must have excellent data entry skills.
Must be able to work in a fast paced work environment.
