In this Administrative Officer 2 position, you will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to executives within the Office of Administration, Office of Information Technology (OA/OIT). This involves utilizing independent judgement within general policies, procedures, and guidelines to regulate and control office activities while maintaining the highest level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism. Managing complex executive schedules including travel, coordinating cross-departmental collaboration and vendor meetings with leadership, and several human resource functions are included in your administrative duties. Additionally, you will answer, screen, and direct phone calls, as well as manage the front desk and visitor access to the Deputy Secretary Office as needed. This position also supports procurement activities, coordinates on budget related items, and tracks project milestones and deadlines to ensure timely completion. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to two days per week. This schedule may vary due to operational needs. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year as an Administrative Officer 1; or
• Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor's degree; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

• You must have three or more years of experience working with C-level executives or closely related senior staff.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
