YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will build B2G Account Based Marketing Plans for targeted federal government accounts and promote REI’s offerings. This professional will work closely with the Director of Marketing, Growth Team, and Federal Account/Offering teams to differentiate REI Systems’ brand, drive growth priorities forward, create innovative marketing solutions/campaigns, and deliver exceptional client experiences with a strong focus on results.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience executing the following activities:
STRATEGY: Develop Account Based Marketing strategies and KPIs and execute planning for assigned accounts.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Lead the development, maintenance, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns spanning events, digital, social, email marketing, PR, thought leadership development, and marketing collateral development.
CONTENT:WRITING: Help manage the marketing editorial calendar. Write various types of marketing content such as articles, white papers, event promotions, fact sheets, case studies, brochures, sales presentations, social posts, etc.
THOUGHT LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT: Assist and guide subject matter experts in developing white papers, blogs, ebooks, infographics, playbooks, etc., that help educate our customers and explain our viewpoint on how to solve our customers’ problems using people, processes, and technology.
EVENT MANAGEMENT: Research, plan, sponsor, promote, and/or attend targeted events/webinars that will generate brand awareness and leads.
PUBLIC RELATIONS: Provide strategic and execution support for public relations campaigns and vendor management.
BUDGET MANAGEMENT: Assist the Marketing Director in building the budget for account based marketing plans.
MARKETING ADVISOR: Serve as strategic marketing advisor to key stakeholders within accounts and offering areas of responsibility.
KPIs & ROI: Set KPIs for campaigns, gather ROI data, and input data into standard reports, focusing on storytelling, goals achieved, and impact.
Other marketing duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications
Below are the requirements of the position:
Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing or Communications preferred)
Government marketing experience
Must have 6-10+ years of relevant work experience in marketing
Experience with content marketing development and editorial calendar management
Strong professional presence, professional client service manner, and demonstrated ability to take initiative
Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills
Advanced communication skills and strong persuasive skills to gain consensus through influence
Experience writing about technology topics in technology like software development, cloud, AI/ML, data analytics, DevOps, Cyber, Cloud, SaaS, Low-code, etc.
Public relations experience is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Travel of up to 15%
MUST BE a local to the DC, Southern Maryland, and Northern Virginia areas
Preferred:
Technical writing/editing and quality assurance; knowledge of government technical editing norms
Experience with digital campaign tools (HubSpot), video, podcasting
Public relations experience is a plus.
Familiarity with DoD and/or public health agencies
In-person, hybrid, and digital events management experience
This position is partially remote (1-2 days in the office per week).
