As a Business Analytics Consultant Sr. within PNC's Balance Sheet Management organization, you can be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Gaitherburg, MD; Atlanta, GA; Philadelphia, PA; or Birmingham, AL.
This position sits within PNC’s Balance Sheet Management function, providing modeling and analytics support to PNC.This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager’s discretion.
Ideal candidate possesses a Master’s or PhD from a STEM-focused curriculum and knowledge of statistical modeling. Preferred degrees include STEM-designated economics programs, applied math or statistics, financial engineering, financial mathematics, or other statistically-intensive programs
Responsibilities:
• Deliver financial reporting performance metrics to key internal stakeholders and leadership, including Asset-Liability Management, Balance Sheet Analytics, and Finance and Accounting
• Design financial models to predict and monitor company, peer, and industry performance. Areas of focus may include: projecting bank profitability through varying economic environments (CCAR), stress testing simulations (Recovery and Resolution Planning), risk and return of core lending and deposit products, and others
• Leverage SQL, Python, and/or QRM (Quantitative Risk Management) to streamline data analysis and address modeling needs
• Partner with Model Risk Management and other risk stakeholders in reviewing the validity and reliability of assumptions to identify opportunities for improvement
