Minimum Qualifications

2 years of outpatient pediatric practice

MD required.      

American Board of Pediatrics Certification

 California Medical License

DEA Certification                                                                                       

Responsibilities: 

·   To oversee the educational environment of trainees within the general pediatrics outpatient clinic; this may involve working with trainees and pediatric clinic leadership to plan and implement effective community-based advocacy and child health interventions

·   The Residency Educator designs/modifies/develops and implements curriculum for the Residents for optimal delivery of care (learners) meeting and exceeding national and community standards of practice in the outpatient setting                                                                                                                                                             

·   The Residency Educator integrates evidence-based practice into outpatient curricular development and works with residents to deliver this care.

• Evaluate resident performance, providing coaching and guidance. Evaluate curricular elements using quality measures
  
• Mentoring/Teaching of Residents 

Salary: $66,560/yr.
