How will you make an impact?
The Environmental and Chemical Compliance Program Manager will establish strategies and processes to ensure products meet applicable material compliance (i.e.: EU RoHS, REACH, TSCA, PFAS, GHS), safety data sheets, hazard communication and dangerous goods transportation (IATA) requirements. You will maintain prioritized plans, schedules and metrics, providing regular updates to leadership, including progress, risks and mitigation recommendations. The role will also assess new and emerging requirements and enact compliance strategies to ensure the current and future portfolio are in compliance. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Quality and Regulatory Compliance within the IC/SP business unit.
What will you do?
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to ensure products meet regulatory requirements
- Proactively monitor and interpret regulatory requirements and industry standards applicable to our products
- Develop and implement compliance strategies and action plans to address gaps
- Support New Product Introductions as a core team member, ensuring new products meet applicable regulatory requirements
- Establish and maintain procedures and documented evidence of compliance
- Respond to internal and external customer and/or regulatory compliance requests
- Support sustainability projects and initiatives
How will you get here?
- Bachelor’s degree in a Technical, Engineering, or scientific field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with product regulations and standards such as GHS, SDS, Dangerous Goods Transport, EU RoHS, REACH and WEEE Directives, CA Proposition 65, TSCA, China RoHS
- Experience engaging with and providing guidance to engineering, operations and manufacturing teams to ensure compliance to applicable regulations and requirements
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Ability to learn quickly in an evolving environment
- Proven ability to collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams
- Excellent project management and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity operating within a quality management system (i.e.: ISO 9001, ISO 13485)
- Process improvement experience (LEAN, Six Sigma, PPI, etc)
- Familiarity navigating compliance and PLM system bill of materials, approved vendor lists, where-used reports
- Proven ability to balance multiple and changing priorities
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $112,500.00–$168,750.00.
