Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000. This is a good faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this position. The final salary figure will consider skill level, experience, and location.

What you’ll do:
Customers Bank (“Bank”) has an immediate opening for an Analyst/Senior Analyst within its Finance Group, specifically focused on Corporate Development, Corporate Finance and Investor Relations.
The individual will support Corporate Development for special projects and initiatives that the Bank pursues. For example, the Bank hired ten Business and Commercial Banking teams from Flagstar/former Signature Bank in April 2024. Other examples include management of the Bank’s strategic investment portfolio and pursuing strategic financial initiatives.
The individual will support Corporate Finance and Investor Relations individual teams during the quarterly earnings process and aid in preparation of earning calls with investors and analysts. The individual will lead scenario analysis on the impact of key items (loan growth, deposit rates, deposit betas, etc.) on the key performance metrics.
This is a highly strategic role and will have regular interaction with Heads of Investor Relations, Corporate Planning and Strategic Finance as well as the Chief Financial Officer and other C-Suite Executives. The successful candidate will have the opportunity for a high degree of autonomy in conducting financial and strategic analysis and driving decision making on key initiatives for the Bank.

Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze financial and strategic opportunities (M&A, partnerships, investments) and present findings and recommendations to senior managers, explaining implications to the Bank’s near-term performance and long-term strategic goals.
- Support Corporate Finance and Investor Relations teams during the quarterly earnings process as well as on an ad-hoc basis in dealing with investors and equity analysts.
- Aid in preparation of investor presentation, press release and other relevant documents for a publicly traded company at the end of each quarter.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative benchmarking analyses that support financial and strategic decision making.
- Lead the scenario analysis on the impact of key items (loan growth, deposit rates, deposit betas, etc.) on key performance metrics.
- Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possible.
- Foster collaborative relationships with business teams, implement new processes and drive continuous improvement.
What do you need?
- Minimum 2+ years of investment banking, consulting experience or corporate FP&A.
- Financial services industry experience is preferred, but not required.
- Demonstrated experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis across financial products, performance analysis, project management of financial planning projects, developing data reporting, and analytics processes.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and effectively communicate with key stakeholders, cross-functional partners and senior leadership.
- Strong work ethic and self-initiative, with the demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Willingness to embrace unstructured environments and problems and analyze large data sets.
- Solid organization skills and the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities while achieving superior results.
- Strong attention to detail.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, accounting or economics, but not required with relevant previous work experience.
