Summary
The Aircraft Ground Support (Line Service Technician) Lead is responsible for performing and
coordinating all aircraft and ramp services for ACI Jet FBO customers while maintaining a positive
and productive relationship with ACI Jet’s employees, vendors, and clients by personally
performing these duties or through subordinate staff members.
Reports To
The Aircraft Ground Support Lead reports directly to the Aircraft Ground Support Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include the following, but are not limited to other duties that may be assigned as required
by management.
Lead the AGS team to ensure that the goals and objectives relating to the FBO are
achieved and carried out in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
Perform and lead essential duties to include aircraft fueling operations, ramp operations,
and fuel farm management in accordance with safety and airport regulations and ACI Jet
SOP as specified below:
Take ownership of safely completing fueling operations in accordance with ATA103,
airport regulations, and ACI Jet SOP.
Take ownership of safely completing ramp operations in accordance with ACI Jet SOP
and airport regulations, including towing, marshalling, and wing-walking aircraft of various
sizes.
Take ownership of safely completing fuel farm management duties by receiving fuel loads
in accordance with airport regulations and ACI Jet SOP and performing quality control
checks.
Take ownership of safely operating equipment, customer, and company vehicles on and
off ACI Jet and airport property in accordance with airport regulations and ACI Jet SOP.
Positively impact safety and team culture by taking ownership over personal
accountability and holding team members accountable to following ACI Jet SOPs in order
to safely and completely fulfill all duties and responsibilities.
Ensure ACI Jet clients receive exceptional service, and strive to exceed client
expectations. This includes coordinating and communicating with the Supervisor, other
team members, and the Hospitality and Experience team to diffuse high-stress situations
and manage customer expectations in a professional manner.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, paying careful attention to
client preferences and needs.
Ensure all ACI Jet client requests are responded to in a timely and professional manner.
This includes responding to FBO client concerns and suggestions. Ensure management
team is aware of any shortcomings that could damage company reputation.
Show up ready to work as designated in the employee handbook with any necessary PPE
accessible.
Actively participate in assisting with, managing, and coaching team members on ACI Jet’s
fuel quality control program.
Perform and delegate daily checks on all company equipment and actively inspect and
report any issues. This includes coordinating and communicating with the Facilities team.
Assist in managing ramp ops and scheduling efficiency based on operational demand.
This includes taking responsibility for the efficiency of team members’ shifts by sending
team members home when operations are slow and approving overtime when operations
are demanding.
Assist in the development and enforcement of policies and procedures.
Assist in all training of Aircraft Ground Support personnel.
Identify and document service shortfalls, and help develop new services for ACI Jet
clients.
Lead the Airport Ground Support team by setting an example, maintaining a positive
attitude, and helping others achieve company and personal growth.
Demonstrate leadership skills in ensuring the safety and quality of all assigned duties and
responsibilities by actively and positively participating in ACI Jet’s SQMS program.

Pay Rate: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Must have minimum 1 year experience in Aircraft Ground Support or related experience.
Must be able to work as part of a team and independently, in a high stress and fast paced
environment.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to obtain an airport badge, including a SIDA badge.
Must be able to work as part of a team and independently in a high-stress and fast-paced

Must be highly motivated and organized.
Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and operate efficiently within guidelines of SOP while
maintaining a positive demeanor.
Must be able to communicate clearly and positively during high pressure situations.
Must have scheduling flexibility and availability. This position could be subject to
mandatory overtime.
Within the first 90 days of employment, a basic understanding of aviation terminology is
required.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, sit, bend, and stand for extended periods.
Must be able to safely perform duties in adverse weather conditions.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
