What you can expect
The DevOps Engineer will work with vendors and the infrastructure engineering team for security and service availability. They will troubleshoot production issues with DEV/QA teams, including performance and function issues. They will also diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve service issues related to VoIP telephony platforms and apps. The DevOps Engineer will provide the CI/CD model to deploy and configure the production system automatically. They will also implement zero-downtime to accomplish highly available service (99.999%).

The engineering team functions as a highly collaborative, diverse powerhouse. Each department mission is to deliver seamless and innovative communication solutions. These range from software development and machine learning to quality assurance teams that work to create and maintain Zoom's user-friendly interfaces and robust infrastructure. The team continues to push the boundaries of communication technology, bringing people together regardless of their physical distance.
What we’re looking for
- Experience with CI/CD tools and integration with Docker container, Kubernetes, and other microservice technologies
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and other monitoring tools
- Experience with Linux, CLI and basic network troubleshooting skills
- Experience in shell scripting, Python, Go or any other programming language is mandatory
- Experience hands-on with production systems. Understanding of the principles of operations
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, Ansible and other DevOps tools
- Able to understand SIP, RTP, RTCP, and related (nice to have)
- Experience with Linux/Network/AWS/K8S certifications (nice to have)
Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum:
$83,700.00
Maximum:
$178,000.00
