With over two decades of experience in the Facility Maintenance and construction industry, we are seeking to welcome a Campsite Property Manager to join our dynamic team in Rock Hill, NY.
Scope of Work:
This position is 90 percent outdoors and requires the candidate to reside on a campsite year-round within company provided housing. The Campsite Property Manager provides onsite general maintenance and custodial services on campgrounds in accordance with Company policies, standards, and safety procedures. The successful candidate willwork an active 8-hour day and will be on-call for the remaining hours of the day on notice and for emergencies five months a year (summer months). Lastly, this is a high customer interface role that requires excellent customer service skills, centered around respect and integrity.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform year-round maintenance duties including but not limited to proper upkeep of campgrounds, general road repair, trail clearing and maintenance of all water systems.
Inspect vehicles, tools and equipment for signs of damage, wear and tear, or malfunction.
Maintain a high visibility presence and aid in deterrence against property destruction or damage.
Ensure that all property amenities are safe and in proper functioning condition.
Maintain gates and post signs to discourage unauthorized access onto camp property.
Proactively prepare for contingencies (Such as danger elements as thunderstorms, bush fires, etc.).
Collaborate closely with management to address any issues and or concerns pertaining to staff and or property.
Provide input into the planning of long and short-term strategies for property development and maintenance.
Safely operate company vehicles and equipment in commission of carrying out work duties.
Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years’ experience in campground maintenance, property maintenance, or related field.
Possess basic working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing functioning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledgeable in software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subjected to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria.
Physical Requirements:
The ability to work in inclement weather.
Be able to stand and walk for prolong periods.
The strength to lift and move up to 60 pounds unassisted.
Compensation:
$52,000.00 per year, medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k. Company paid housing and utilities, including phone and internet.
