As a Resiliency, Disaster Recovery Specialist and Technical Lead, you will be responsible for the operational side of disaster recovery and resilience. As a platform engineering lead, you are going to be developing, implementing, and maintaining resiliency framework and capabilities, that applications teams can consume via automated product offerings or repeatable patterns to attest to validity and viability of their disaster recovery plans in line with business outcomes.
You will work and partner closely with the project managers, technical leads, and business stakeholders to identify testing scenarios for potential threats, assess impacts, and design testing solutions to ensure business continuity and minimize risks.
You will conduct regular testing, monitoring, and reporting of the resiliency and disaster recovery plans and activities. You will develop the capability to capture the book of record for all disaster recovery related data. You will identify gaps and continuous improvement opportunities.
You will support Global Risk and their requirements to report to regulators on our disaster recovery effort

You have at least 7 years of technical operational experience in resiliency, disaster recovery, or business continuity management. You have had a technical leadership role in implementing at least two resiliency and disaster recovery solutions for midsize or large companies, preferably in the financial area.
You have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
You have strong knowledge of operational side of resiliency and disaster recovery frameworks, standards, testing best practices, and chaos engineering.
You have strong infrastructure knowledge. You are comfortable working as a platform engineer. Cloud – AWS knowledge required, also Hybrid, and On-Premises.
You excel at system analysis and problem solving. You can troubleshoot hardware, software, and infrastructure components issues.
You have experience in conducting risk assessments, business impact analyses, and gap analyses.
You have experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining resiliency and disaster recovery plans and corresponding testing strategies for complex and diverse systems and applications.
You have experience in conducting resiliency and disaster recovery testing, monitoring, and reporting.
You have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
You have a certification in resiliency, disaster recovery, or business continuity management, such as CBCP, CRISC, or CISA.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $166,551-$266,482

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
