Role Summary:
Responsible for the ongoing reporting and analysis of corporate suspense ledger accounts reconciliations across all legal entities. Responsible for the overall maintenance of assigned accounts in TRECS/Cadency.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a general ledger account inventory and reconciliation assignments for all suspense ledger accounts across all legal entities.
- Overall maintenance of assigned accounts in TRECS/Cadency including manual matching of transactions in TRECS to eliminate outstanding items and import closing ledger balances.
- Research and conduct meetings with the responsible business areas so that they can assist in clearing current out of balance issues.
- Provide support for other units in Operational Accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Assist in projects/tasks for the Operational Accounting Team.
Required Qualifications:
- College Degree with Accounting, Finance and Business preferred
- Knowledge of General Ledgers, Journals, Accruals and Reconciliation
- Ability to take ownership and responsibility
- Inquisitive with strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve and work under pressure
- Must have strong PC skills with particular emphasis on Microsoft access, excel, formula construction, and excel reconciliation solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Financial Services Industry
- Working knowledge of NetSuite ERP and TRECS/Cadency a plus.
