Job Abstract

About the Position: Join our team as a QC Chemist in Woodbridge, CT, where you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our products through meticulous analysis and testing in our manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide analytical support by preparing, testing, and analyzing samples using a variety of techniques including NMR, FTIR, GC-MS, HPLC, and more.
  

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) under ISO controlled documents to evaluate raw materials, in-process, and final samples to uphold product quality standards.
  

• Conduct wet chemistry procedures such as titrations and extractions.
  

• Perform calibration, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance on laboratory instruments.
  

• Collaborate closely with the Manager of QC and Analytical Chemistry to support laboratory operations.
  

• Maintain accurate records in laboratory notebooks and adhere to lab safety protocols and procedures.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Proficiency or familiarity with analytical instruments including GC, HPLC, DSC, Viscometer, Refractometer, Tensiometer, NMR, UV-Vis, IR, Karl Fischer, Titrator, pH meter, and balances is beneficial.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field is required.
