Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Security Administrator to join our team in the Herndon, VA.
Applicant will be a member of the ManTech team in the ManTech Personnel Security Center (PSC), and responsible for administrative tasks related to security processing and maintaining of individuals requiring Department of Defense (DOD) clearances.
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and internal customers; and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Will be a part of the team to implement processes and tools for centrally managing the company’s DoD personnel security program.
This is a hybrid work schedule once fully trained.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Testing and implementing personnel security processes
Maintaining and updating personnel security folders and databases
Review and submit security forms for processing, complete and transmit visit requests
Support company prescreening activities
Track and monitor security clearance processing activities with appropriate company and government personnel to achieve clearance, and update internal databases as appropriate
Applicant may be required to update and maintain the overall clearance/access database (DISS and NBIS), and ManTech’s internal personnel security database (SIMS)
Ensure files are maintained and complainant with customer requirements
Scan material and personnel records into digital form and organize them into a computer database
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2 years of administrative work experience
Experience with SIMS security database preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office suite of software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Knowledgeable in areas of DISS/NBIS, Personnel Security and Security Administration to include review and processing of SF86s (eApp/e-QIP) preferred but not required.

The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
