About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Facility Engineer to maintain and support operations at our data centers in Manassas and Sterling, VA.
In this role, you will:
- Maintain 24/7 365 Data Center Continuity of Service
- Lead or participate in providing project management support to ensure compliance and documentation for enhancements and modifications concerning building infrastructure technology
- Contribute to large-scale planning related to building infrastructure technology
- Review and analyze moderately complex application, functionality, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
- Independently resolve moderately complex issues
- Lead team to meet functional area/project/process deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures and/or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Potentially lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor for junior staff
Required Qualifications, US:
4+ years of facility engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
4+ years of corporate properties and facilities management experience
4+ years of management or leadership experience
Data center engineering design and operational leadership experience strongly preferred.
Extensive experience in property management coordination with multiple properties.
Previously managed the operations of large enterprise data centers (50,000+ sq. ft. computer environments)
Broad knowledge of critical facility concepts, disciplines, best practices and methodologies
Extensive knowledge of building systems, automation and infrastructure.
Extensive knowledge of compliance, audit, building controls and security protocols.
Critical Facility industry best practice knowledge and application experience
Strategic view and innovative focus on Critical Facilities service delivery practices
Knowledge and understanding of data center: critical facilities systems: electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Clear understanding of indoor air quality, OSHA, NFPA, EPA, local and national codes and requirements to assure that employees, vendors and contractors are performing tasks in a workmanlike manner without exposing the organization to unnecessary risk.
Knowledge of sustainability and energy management principles as well as asset life cycle management disciplines.
Focused with strong problem solving and analytical skills
Experience collaborating with Property Managers, Project Managers and CPG Properties leadership and other lines of business.
Will demonstrate a proficiency in understanding and interpreting facility blue prints as well as electrical and mechanical single line drawings

- VA - Sterling MIN $106,300 MAX $188,900
- May be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
