Job Abstract

A 250+ bed hospital near Queens, NY is seeking a dedicated RN Case Manager Supervisor for a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. The RN Case Manager Supervisor will conduct Open Chart Reviews, oversee new employee orientation and ongoing training, and support Case Managers by escalating appropriate cases. This role also involves participation in performance improvement activities and presenting at hospital-wide Performance Improvement Meetings. The position reports directly to the Director of Case Management and Social Work.

Candidates for the RN Case Manager Supervisor role must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (a Master’s Degree is preferred), New York RN licensure with current registration, and Patient Review Instrument Assessor Certification. CCM certification is a plus. Applicants should have at least 5 years of experience as a Case Manager, with Med/Surg experience required and Critical Care and Disease Management experience preferred. Knowledge of case management practices, nursing principles, regulatory compliance, and Allscript Care Management is essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required, along with basic computer skills and effective leadership abilities.
