These include planning and construction, facilities, public safety and emergency operations, environmental health and safety, transportation, housing, and auxiliary/retail operations.
Posting Summary	Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Business Apprentice for the Division of Institutional Planning & Operations (IP&O). The accounting apprentice will learn various aspect of providing budget, finance, accounting, procurement and payroll services to the organizations within IP&O. Among the key duties of this position are the following: Will rotate and assist in the areas of budget analysis; purchasing of materials, supplies and services, general accounting, and payroll processing. The apprentice will work with a team of business professionals with in IP&O budget and finance team to support various business and accounting functions and have the opportunity to rotate with the budget & finance team to gain experience and support various business functions.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience	High School diploma or equivalent.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities	Have interest in pursuing a degree and or a career in business. The ideal candidate will have basic skills in Microsoft applications. A desire to learn and take initiative with problem solving.
