ManTech International is currently seeking System Engineers to join our team in the Ft. Meade, MD area. In this role, you will be responsible for developing derived requirements for Information Assurance Services, Basic Information Assurance Mechanisms, and Security Mechanism Technology. You will also play a key role in defining systems and components, providing a common reference point for hardware and software developers.

Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
Make recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performance.
Assist in developing and executing test procedures for software components.
Write or review software and system documentation.
Design, develop, and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure the outcomes and consequences of the design.
Design or implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queries.
Minimum Qualifications:
7 years of experience as a System Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Bachelor’s degree in system engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
**OR**
5 years of additional System Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, conferring with users or system engineers, analyzing systems flow, data usage, and work processes, and investigating problem areas.
Must have experience with NiFi and Python.
Experience with Network designing, maintaining, implementing, and troubleshooting an organization's computer networks.
Must have experience working with Cisco equipment.
Must have Oracle DBA experience
