Overview The After School Staff member will provide a supportive function for one of our Bronx After School programs in the role of either an - Assistant Group Leader or - Group Leader Reports to: Vice President of Education & Vocation Programs (After Schools) Location: One of our Various Bronx Sites Hours: Up to 18 Hours/Week; Monday - Friday, 2pm - 6:30pm Salary: $16/hr - 18/hr Major Duties: 1) Assistant Group Leader Assist the Group Leader and Activity Instructors with activities, including sports, movement, and recreation, educational activities and arts and crafts. 2) Group Leader Plan and facilitate integrated learning, recreational, arts and developmentally appropriate activities for youth. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Ability to lead and participate in group activities, sports and recreation. Must have a commitment to work from a strength-based and/or youth development perspective.
