As a successful candidate, you will:
System Administrator will configure and maintain support software for business processes including Archibus, Siemens, Maximo, DSX, AMAG, Milestone, Resolver/Perspective, Computrition, Catertrax, Xenial, Room Master, and Fusion Risk Management, and other systems that support the business. The System Administrator will be responsible for working with business users to improve processes, and reconfigure software where needed. The System Administrator will be an expert in the systems that business uses day-to-day and be able to troubleshoot issues that may come up to keep the business running smoothly.
Effectively and quickly resolve day-to-day system issues by working with team members and 3rd parties.
Support implementation of new releases of software, including test plans, scheduling, installation, and change management. Support roll outs to production and development environments.
Configure and maintain multiple systems.
Perform user account administration.
Perform print queue administration and troubleshoot server printing problems.
Assist the Information Security team in maintaining security on servers that includes patches, hardening, and following enterprise policies.
Perform basic level programming for running queries, building and formatting reports, and researching data integrity issues.
Maintain and exercise Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans.
Provide technical assistance to vendors in identifying and troubleshooting server problems.
Map and document interfaces between systems.
Recommend appropriate tools for improved monitoring and administration of the Enterprise Support Services software environments.
Keep up-to-date with technical and industry developments and requirements
Assist leadership and project managers in the ESS/E&M functional areas in whichever project(s) he/she needs assistance with, upon a directive from the server administration manager and/or the technical services director.
System administrator will be on-call 24/7 on a scheduled and sometimes unscheduled basis.The system administrator on-call will need to be ready to assist users, vendors and or ITS personnel whenever he/she is called or paged. The system administrator on-call will perform daily duties as documented in policies and procedures.
Maintain a positive and professional image when interacting with department personnel and other City of Hope employees.
Follow established City of Hope and department policies, procedures, objectives, performance improvement, attendance, safety, environmental, and infection control guidelines.Practices a high level of integrity and honesty in maintaining confidentiality.
Process helpdesk, RFS, and AccessNet tickets for the Division according to department requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Your qualifications should include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements
3+ years Windows Server enterprise experience
2+ years Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) administration.
1+ years Microsoft Exchange.
Internet application experience (DNS, DHCP, HTTP, and FTP).
TCP/IP skills.
1+ years with enterprise backup strategies
