The Operations & Student Registration Manager will lead and manage programs or functions under minimal supervision including, but not limited to, the following: oversee student registration services and disability accommodation records; address escalated situations with students, faculty, and staff on a range of issues to guide them in making appropriate choices and decisions; lead internal financial reporting and management (e.g., travel, purchases, expense reporting, journal adjustments); manage a team of student services staff; and determine workflows and adjust priorities for their team in an often changing and dynamic environment.
As a member of the OAE leadership team, the Operations & Student Registration Manager will advise on policy, strategy, vision and direction regarding issues and objectives impacting our students, campus partners, and the university. They’ll collaborate with cross functional areas and schools to help implement this vision and strategy. This position will report to the Assistant Vice Provost of Accessible Education.

CORE DUTIES:
Lead the planning and operations for programs or functions that have significant business, regulatory and/or technical challenges requiring subject matter expertise. o Assign students to Disability Advisers (DA) by reviewing documentation, DA caseloads, and student accommodation needs. o Create/update registration and welcome workflows and templates in Salesforce. o Respond to complex questions and/or escalated concerns from prospective students, matriculated students, staff, faculty, parents, and others regarding registration process, policies, and accommodations via phone, email, or in-person.
Evaluate programs or functions, policies and procedures. Identify issues and develop alternative solutions which may include changes to programs, policies and procedures.
o Analyze caseloads and redistribute, as needed. o Establish and communicate proper OAE P-Card, T- Card expectations and usage to staff.
Review and analyze trends to advise and develop recommendations to achieve or modify the goals of the program or function. o Create, iterate, and review weekly, monthly, and yearly reports in Salesforce to establish OAE statistics for internal use to determine trends, to provide annual data to IPEDS, and to provide data for presentations.
Represent the program or function within the department, unit or school by committing resources and provide information and/or training. Represent the program or function at the university level and/or to external/internal stakeholders and constituencies.
o Represent the OAE at VPSA finance meetings. o Participate in Student Services Building meetings where policies are determined. o Communicate OAE policies and procedures to external constituents and internal stakeholders (faculty, staff, and students). o Manage and direct planning of OAE events (e.g., tabling, Open Houses, etc)
Manage and contribute to the development of outreach strategy that may include relationship development, communications and compliance.
May develop and/or oversee budgets; manage finances including monitoring, analyzing, forecasting, and reporting.
o Oversee the processing of expense requests, journal transfers, card verifications, and purchases for the OAE. o Support the Assistant Vice Provost and leadership team as needed with forecasting and reporting to Student Affairs Finance year-end projections.
Assess training needs and may develop associated training.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience: o Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This is a hybrid role which requires 3-4 onsite workdays per week. Additional onsite days may be scheduled, as needed, to meet student and departmental needs.

The expected pay range for this position is $95,000 - $129,000 per annum.
