Job Summary
This position will be managing Aeries the district SIS for the front end and MS SQL on the back end. High critical thinking skill set and good communications skills desired.
OTHER ESSENTIAL SKILL SETS:
1.Experience Managing Student Information System
2.Working knowledge of Aeries Student Information System, including workflow, annual processes, and teacher and parent portals
3.Experience managing MSSQL server, including database backups, restores, and maintenance plans
4.Experience using MSSQL query language
5.Experience using MSSQL Server Management Studio
6.Experience using CALPADS (California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System)
7.Experiencing managing CALPADS data uploads (CALPADS reporting cycles)
8.Experiencing with MS Office or Google G-Suite application, including spreadsheet pivot tables and vlookups

DATA SYSTEM & MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE TECHNICIAN
BASIC FUNCTION:
Under general supervision, perform duties related to supporting all aspects of the Technology and Communication Services Division.
EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage Student Information System database;
Produce reports for District and sites;
Provide Student Information System training; and
Other related duties.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION:
Any combination equivalent to:
Graduation from high school;
Courses in office procedures, typing, keyboarding or data entry; and
Two years of database management.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
1. Possession of a valid State of California Class C Drivers License.
