Key job responsibilities In this role, Ad Tech Account Executives are subject matter experts of multiple products within the Amazon AdTech Suite. They focus on accelerating tech feature activation and usagewhich improve campaign planning, activation, and measurementas an enabler to drive media growth and tech revenue fueled by our AdTech flywheel. The Ad Tech Account Executive role involves selling features, products, or an entire suite of products, to optimize the advertising process. Examples include Amazon Marketing Cloud, Amazon DSP, APIs, and AWS components. They remain customer obsessed by collaborating with other internal Advertising and AWS sales teams to develop strategic customer plans to grow programmatic media investment through adoption of Amazons entire Ad Tech suite. They possess a deep understanding of the AdTech / Marketing Technology (Mar Tech) industry and regulations, to advise which products and features within Amazons Ad Tech stack best address each customers main needs and challenges. For example, an Ad Tech Account Executive communicates to customers the benefits of investing in Amazon Marketing Cloud, including insights of their core customer, creating durability in measurement with industry shifts in identity, or developing custom models to evaluate the lifetime value of customers. Ad Tech Account Executives play a strategic role in the overall growth of the Amazon Ads business.
About the team This team partners with many of the largest advertisers and agencies focused on growing revenue through the adoption of advanced Ad Tech Features.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience - Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software - Knowledge of ad technologies (e.g. DMP, CRM Matching, etc.)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of digital ad sales as an individual contributor experience - Deep understanding of programmatic ad tech industry and marketing automation - Proven ability to excel in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment - Exceptional project management, written, and verbal communication skills - Demonstrated experience working creatively and analytically to meet business and customer needs, leveraging data as a narrative - Demonstrated effectiveness working collaboratively across internal teams to build processes and scale knowledge - Demonstrated aptitude to think strategically about business, product and technical issues

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $80,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $171,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives.
