What You Will Do – Starting Point
1. Leading a Team: You will lead broad cross functional and multidisciplinary teams on the most pressing priorities for our company, both designing the solutions and managing the change implementation.
2. Refine the Strategy Rollout: Working alongside the VP of Corporate Innovation and the Directors of Program Management, Growth Strategy, and Supply Chain to refine the implementation road map over the next three fiscal years.
3. Identify Strategy 2.0: Identify, test, and recommend the next key components of the National Strategy to accelerate our competitive advantage and deliver on our customer value proposition.
4. Key Decisions: Drive senior leadership to make key decisions around simplification, unification, and policy to ensure that we adhere to the primary components of our strategy that will ensure our success
5. Define the Metrics: Work directly with the CEO, CFO, and a small group of senior leaders to identify, define, and set hurdles for the Key Strategic Indicators that will define the progress of the strategy — in terms of both implementation and outcomes.
6. Next Steps: We are fully invested in our strategy, at the highest level, and are committing millions per year to invest in the new skills, resources, and knowledge we require, but we’re just getting started. We know there are opportunities we aren’t looking at, prioritizing, or shaping: Sustainability, Data Analytics, and Modularization are just a few key areas we want to focus on.

Job Overview + Opportunity
This role will be a major driver of the execution of the strategic transformation currently unfolding within K. Hovnanian. This role requires a well-rounded team player who can bring her/his rigorous and practical approaches to problem solving, strategy development and strategy execution to bear for our team: recognizing patterns, defining opportunities, and creating solutions to move us forward. This role will also be tasked with looking to the future for potential risks, opportunities and enhancements and help steer and focus our senior leadership team on the most impactful activities and decisions.
The spectrum of work is only confined by the imagination of our team, and we should find our greatest frustration in prioritization of our ideas. You will be equal parts project manager, consultant, and entrepreneur, with the ever-present mission of making beautiful homes affordable to customers at all price points.
Responsibilities and Expectations
• Guide, drive, and scope projects from issue identification all the way to implementation and iteration to create large scale, long term solutions
• Manage multiple projects and work flows simultaneously utilizing working groups built from associates across the organization
• Present analyses, project plans, key performance indicators, communication plans, and all necessary supporting updates to senior management — to include the c-suite
• Create, support, and uphold group norms and an uncompromising commitment to psychological safety
Minimum Qualifications Requirement
• Extensive experience gathering, translating, and analyzing data into understandable takeaways
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
• Significant experience in managing collaborative teams that work with/for a client
• Experience successfully facilitating multiple projects simultaneously as the primary project manager
• Utilizing both qualitative and quantitative pattern recognition to identify opportunities
• Comfort with ambiguity/abstract reasoning when no solution is readily available
• Create and apply frameworks to diagnose problems and move discussions forward
• Ability to create and hold space for trust, open discussion, and psychological safety
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
• Master of Business Administration
• At least three years of experience in Management Consulting, post-MBA experience preferred but strait line promotions are great
• At least five years of work experience
