Sentinel is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to assist one of our clients. This position is responsible for aspects of the design, engineering, integration, and test of combustion type systems including industrial burners, process heaters, burner fuel trains, burner management systems, steam boilers, controls and optimization. This position requires a candidate with a willingness to travel and work independently in the field. The ideal candidate must be flexible and able to work overtime and weekends as necessary. This is a hybrid position reporting onsite to our client’s location is Oklahoma City, OK.

• BS Mechanical Engineering from an ABET program
• Five years of work experience demonstrating aspects of machine engineering
• Must have experience with CAD, Drafting, GD&T and Machine Design
• Experience working with PLC Programming, Industrial Burners, Fuel Valve Trains and Steam Boilers is preferred
• Must be values-driven, positive, team-oriented, open to feedback & instruction
• Demonstrates professional communication
• Demonstrates good judgement
• Ability to collaborate across functional teams
• Self-motivated, organized individual who can work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent time management skills
• Makes safety the highest priority
• Ability to work fulltime onsite and travel in the USA
• The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
• A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
