Responsibilities:
Manage Labs: Oversee equipment, ensure safe operation according to ABET standards, train personnel, and maintain inventory.
Coordinate Curriculum: Collaborate with instructors to implement the laboratory curriculum and ensure alignment with lectures.
Support Faculty & Students: Assist faculty and students with projects, laboratory activities, and address student inquiries.
Ensure Lab Safety: Implement and enforce safety rules, maintain lab records, and support research and teaching activities.
Departmental Collaboration: Work effectively with department chairs, faculty, and staff.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a laboratory setting relevant to Electrical and Computer Engineering disciplines (e.g., electric circuits, electronics, control systems, digital systems, etc.).
Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and regulations.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email) and basic computer networking concepts.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
