The Sales Support Specialist role is a key member of the Appliance Sales team performing a wide range of activities to ensure customer expectations and business objectives are met.
Duties and Responsibilities
Engage with customers to answer questions, resolve issues and follow-up on inquiries by phone & email
Process customer orders, confirm delivery dates, coordinate changes and respond to expedite requests
Act as a liaison between Sales, Operations and Purchasing teams to execute customer orders and shipping
Manage and maintain a database of customer records and customer pricing
Maintain customer forecasts
Monitor customer accounts receivable for errors and past due invoices
Monitor customer inventory levels
Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required
Qualifications
1–3 years of inside sales support or customer service experience
Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and with cross functional teams
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task within a deadline driven environment
Attention to detail a dedication to accuracy and producing high-quality work
Customer relationship skills with the ability to convey feedback internally
Analytical skills to generate sales reports, update forecasts and maintain customer record
