Selected individual will become part of the Receiving Center Operations/Shipping team in Palmdale. Candidate will be responsible for managing the efficient movement of material, classified parts and spares from receiving into the warehouse. Will monitor inventory stocking levels and engage other organizations to assist in maintaining company owned inventory goals and metrics.
Candidate will support the overall direction, organization and prioritization of packing and shipping operations, working closely with the Traffic Management Organization as necessary to support on time production deliveries.
Will utilize MRP (Material Resource Planning), preferably SAP and the Palmdale order location system (SFM). Will expedite the receipt of materials and repairs to meet demands. Will coordinate and balance multiple sources of demands along with coordinating capacity planning constraint resolution and incorporating corresponding resolution into SAP.
May attend / chair status meetings advising management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
Must have the ability to resolve issues that may arise in the manufacturing process by interfacing with all supporting organizations.
**Must be a US Citizen ** This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Candidate must have the ability to acquire a Secret Clearance, after starting this role.
