Summary
Lincoln Electric is seeking an Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Manager for our Euclid, OH headquarters. As a Service Owner for Manufacturing Systems, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design, implementation, and management of technology solutions across our discrete and continuous manufacturing operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that IT services align with business objectives and effectively support manufacturing processes. Collaborating closely with IT and operational stakeholders, you will lead initiatives to evaluate, implement, and optimize technology solutions while ensuring alignment with organizational strategies and standards.

What You Will Do:
- Responsibilities-Ownership of Manufacturing Execution Systems Service. Technology solutions supporting manufacturing operations, spanning both IT and OT domains.
- Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration-Collaborate with business stakeholders, other IT service owners, and operational units to understand requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business needs into scalable and effective technical solutions.
- Technology Evaluation and Recommendation- Evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, and solutions to support manufacturing operations, aligning with OT and IT strategies.
- Comprehensive Solution Architecture- Develop and contribute to comprehensive architecture plans for manufacturing technology solutions, considering factors such as system integration, scalability, performance, support, data analytics and security.
- Technical Leadership and Guidance- Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams throughout the lifecycle of solution implementation, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
- Incident Escalation and Resolution- Collaborate with IT teams to escalate and remediate incidents and outages related to manufacturing technology solutions, contributing to efficient incident management and resolution processes.
Required Experience & Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Service Owner or similar role in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on technology solutions.
- Strong knowledge of IT architecture principles, practices, methodologies, and frameworks.
- Experience with IT, OT, MES, and IIoT systems, applications, and technologies in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams and disciplines.
- Relevant certifications and ongoing professional development.
