A rewarding nursing leadership opportunity awaits the experienced Emergency Services Nursing Director in sunny Los Angeles, California! The Registered Nurse with a strong background in Emergency Services will be a welcomed addition to the thriving team at this beloved community hospital.

Situated in Central LA, this 150+ bed short-term acute care hospital is well-known in the community for its excellence in patient care services, including 24/7 Emergency Care, General Surgery, Cardiovascular Care, General Medicine, Women’s and Children’s Services, and Orthopedics. For nearly a decade, this medical center has served as a beacon for patients in the community, receiving awards for Patient Satisfaction, Diabetes Care, and utilization of Advanced Technology.

Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Emergency Services Nursing Director will manage oversight of this critical care department with a total of over 250 FTEs. The RN Director Emergency Services will be supported by 2 Nurse Managers, 10 Clinical Supervisors, as well as a strong team of certified Emergency Nurses. The Nurse Director Emergency Department will ensure staff and patient safety for 80,000+ annual ER visits, identify opportunities for performance improvement, and collaborate with other RN Directors across the hospital and health system to promote positive patient outcomes.
