Job Abstract

• Defines, directs, develops, and support the Global Screen Manufacturing Manager and Production Control Supervisor functions in fulfilling all responsibilities required in the manufacturing, ordering and delivery of all screen orders. Assigns resources to orders, jobs, POs, and vendors to ensure adequate performance.
• Manage workload to meet aggressive deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Produce reports and assist in periodic status updates to provide visibility on the status of the department’s order execution efforts as it relates to high-level financial performance targets
• Plan production requirements and requisition material as suggested by MRP.
• Issue and track all manufacturing orders.
• Work with all departments and vendors in resolving problems.
• Maintain good working relationships with vendors and other departments.
• Coordinate with all shop departments to ensure proper inventory levels – maintain knowledge of plant operations and equipment design in order to plan properly.
• Create and approve work orders released to the manufacturing floor.
• Perform computer functions in order to complete departmental requirements.
• Assist in organizing procedures to promote and assure positive interaction between departments.
• Work extra hours daily as necessary to ensure all functions are complete and timely.
• Must follow all quality, safety and environmental policies and programs; must be able to use personal safety devices as required by company policy; report any activities that could be detrimental to safety and/or the loss of productivity; report any injuries when they occur.
• Work with members of management and employees to implement and maintain the Quality Management Systems.
• Visible and proactive involvement with shop activities to understand processes and procedures defining work activities and identify actions for improvements in the processes to eliminate potential issues
• Development and writing of clear, concise, and detailed reports, procedures, and other documents for both internal and external distribution
• Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager for Manufacturing.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Follow all safety rules and regulations as provided by Brandt and customer company representatives, including the ability to use personal protective devices as required by Company or Client policy.
2. Perform other related duties as prescribed by the Operations Manager for Manufacturing.

List the minimum requirements for this position:

• 1-3 years oilfield related production control
• Minimum of high school education or GED equivalent
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literate, working knowledge of JDE a plus.
