Pay Rate: $16-$18/hr
Shift: 1st shift with rotating start times
Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance activities related to the assigned plant, ensuring proper techniques are used for repair and preventive maintenance.
Analyze equipment downtime in collaboration with management to recommend Predictive Maintenance activities.
Coordinate planned downtime activities with production to maximize equipment availability.
Resolve maintenance issues and suggest improvements for operational and machine performance.
Ensure safe and proper operation of plant equipment and machinery.
Repair and improve building infrastructure, support fire protection systems and maintain distribution center racking.
Conduct metal and wood fabrications, including welding, and maintain building pneumatic systems.
Perform maintenance on automated conveyor systems and complete preventative maintenance routines.
Manage department inventory, including spare parts, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Take corrective action to ensure machinery operates safely, efficiently, and economically.
Maintain cleanliness of work area and perform other tasks as directed by the Manager.
Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist, and work at heights intermittently for eight hours a day.
Hand manipulation including grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
Reach and work above and below shoulder level frequently.
Operate automobiles, forklifts, and scissor lifts.
Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs intermittently throughout the work week.
Perform tasks from a ladder up to fifteen feet in elevation above the floor surface.
Work in varied conditions including small spaces, dust, fumes, hot/cold temperatures, noise, vibration, and wet or uneven surfaces.
