Senior HR Generalist needed for a company in Foothill Ranch.

The Senior HR Generalist supports our HR department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. This role will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, helping us to plan and administer important functions, such
as support and guidance to team members and management on HR related matters, recruiting both in-house and partnerships with employment agencies, required federal and state reporting (EEO-1, ACA, OSHA Forms, etc.), onboarding and offboarding, training and development, compensation and benefits, and payroll functions.
Essential Job Functions:- Serve as the primary point of contact for our team members with human resources inquiries, workplace issues and employee concerns.
- Collaborate with hiring managers, oversee the full recruitment cycle from job posting to interviewing and selection, pre-employment screening. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements for successful onboarding.
- Manage administrative tasks related to the employee life cycle, including onboarding, new hire orientation and off-boarding processes. Maintain data into HRIS and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
- Provide support in payroll processing and benefits administration, ensuring timely and accurate compensation and benefits for employees.
- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Responsible for overseeing the Leave of Absence process including tracking all leaves and collecting insurance premium during unpaid leave.
- Generate various HR metrics reports on a weekly or monthly offering valuable insights into HR-related data.
- Conduct investigations in response to workplace issues, ensuring fair and impartial resolution.
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire, turnover rates, etc.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions and programs; determines changes to be made and initiates changes to programs to ensure appropriate skills development.
- Promote and support initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and morale.
- Actively participate in HR projects and initiatives, contributing to the development and enhancement of HR programs and processes.
Requirements:- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of three (3) years working as an HR Generalist.
- PHR and/or SHRM-CP preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now is required, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed.
- Excellent communications skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.
- Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $75,000.00 - $85,000.00
