Overview
The Business Process Management Engineer examines, improves, and streamlines business processes within an organization. The Business Project Management Engineer will lead the coordination and implementation of assigned projects. The ideal candidate will be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. They will rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust’s mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the key stakeholders and assist in the setting of organizational goals.
Conduct business process mapping.
Gather and analyze important business data and create reports based on recommendations.
Effectively evaluate processes, workflows, and business needs.
Collaborate with IT and business leaders for the development of new process designs that support the organization’s short-term objectives and long-term strategy.
Provide support in change management.
Identify effective business specific processes that can be leveraged enterprise wide.
Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field
2+ years of project management experience
Qualification in project management or equivalent
Ability to travel up to 5% domestically
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, and MS Project
Scrum / Agile experience
Preferred:
Project management process improvement experience
Experience working in the Insurance Industry
Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Business process improvement experience
