Job Description:
EDUCATION
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider
- PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support Healthcare Provider
- RN-Registered Nurse of California
- Chemotherapy Certification required
EXPERIENCE
- PACU experience with recovering OR cases.
- 1-year PACU or Critical Care experience as an RN required in a similar acute care setting required.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- The ability to get along with co-workers or peers.
- Ability to read, write, hear and verbally communicate in English to the degree required to perform the job.
- The ability to recognize potential hazards and follow appropriate precautions.
- The ability to understand and remember detailed instructions.
- Must be able to demonstrate communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate age-related competencies for neonate through geriatrics.
- Must demonstrate the ability to provide education on wound/skin care and to adapt teaching techniques to skill level/teaching method preference of patient or care giver/family member learner.
- Must demonstrate the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Basic computer skills, including PC and Windows applications.
- In depth knowledge of nursing process and performance improvement in depth knowledge of current wound care standards of practice

Pay Range is $60.45 to $82.68 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.
