Overview Responsible for leading a growing team of Creative Specialists / Managers across 2d / 3d and multimedia, the Senior Creative Services Manager / Team Leader position sits within the Corporate Marketing & Brand Communications Group. This role plays an instrumental role in overseeing the creative strategy, design and branding for Konica Minolta across mixed media. The ideal candidate will be an out of the box creative thinker, willing to experiment with design (ideally with technology at the heart of it), but with a business mindset, focused on delivery. Responsibilities Management • Oversee, manage and support all creative activities for the company. • Manage a team of employees and contractors whose duties focus on executing the creative strategy. This includes coordinating, planning, designing and executing all corporate literature, corporate presentations, adverts, digital media, video, marketing materials, creative assets for campaigns, photography libraries, video content etc.). Creative Strategy / Thinking • Working in collaboration with the Director of Corporate Marketing and Brand Communications, define the creative strategy (visual identity, expression and story) for the corporate brand and product portfolio, adhering to global brand guidelines). • Brings an advance creative mindset, by staying abreast of design trends for advancing creative output. • Demonstrates a stellar creative mindset, by willing to take experimental approaches to creative execution, using technology such as AI. Creative Execution • Confidently able to put together thoughtful presentations and articulate the detail thinking from a brand strategy perspective behind a creative proposal. • Define the goals of each project and come up with a concept and plan to meet those goals. • Play an integral role in leading / influencing all environmental designs (corporate environments, tradeshows, sales offices interiors etc.). • Setup an in-house photography studio, to be able to provide both conventional and digital media. • Manage the budget for creative projects, hiring employees and contractors, and tracking progress. This may include initiating the RFP process for agency selection and managing all advertising agency activities. • Reviews creative effectiveness, by understanding engagement and online performance. While this is a Leader of Teams role, the successful applicant will be comfortable leading / managing a team as well as being hands on with the creation / implementation of creative programs. Qualifications • A minimum of 10-15 years creative services background – ideally a mix of agency and corporate • Bachelor’s degree in Art and Graphic Design / Design Leadership / Interactive Design etc. • Proficient with computer programs, particularly InDesign and other multimedia packages, Microsoft Office applications etc. • Budget management • Strong organizational skills, ability to follow up and high attention to detail • Ability to interact with other marketing teams to interpret and frame business needs into communications strategies • Has capabilities to interact regularly with other people within and outside the organization in planning, coordinating and executing creative activities • Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, and fun, work environment Competencies • A true leader with the ability to work with senior level executives within Konica Minolta • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills • Strong relationship-building skills and an ability to engage in collaborative decision-making • Great project and time management skills • High level of motivation and initiative.
