Posting Summary	The Department of Music, Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University, is seeking a non-tenure track one-year Director of Operas at the rank of lecturer. Stage directors, opera coaches, or experienced college opera program or regional theater heads preferred. Experience in musical theater also highly desirable. The Director of Operas will teach opera-related courses each semester and organize, oversee, and direct the 2024-25 season of operas including a chamber opera, main opera, and opera scenes. They will additionally participate in auditions, recital panels, and provide other service to the Opera Program as needed. This position is a full-time, non-renewable, ten-month academic appointment with an anticipated start date of September 1, 2024.
