The Scarlet Knights are members of the prestigious Big Ten Conference, the nation’s premier academic and athletic conference, after officially joining the league on July 1, 2014. Known as “The Birthplace of College Football, Rutgers hosted Princeton on Nov. 6, 1869 in the first intercollegiate football game, with RU earning a 6-4 victory.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience	Bachelor’s degree required.
Certifications/Licenses	A valid driver’s license would be required for this position; Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities	Good organization skills. Ability to communicate effectively with student-athletes and the media. Computer literate.
Preferred Qualifications	Youth, High school or collegiate wrestling coaching and competitiion experience preferred. Knowledge of the Big Ten and NCAA regulations preferred.
Equipment Utilized	Must be able to use a computer, email, editing equipment and recruiting database software.
Physical Demands and Work Environment	Nights and weekends will be required.
Special Conditions	Clean Driving Record.
