Account Executive needed for a growing Commercial Lines Department in a Torrance, CA agency.
With this collaborative agency, focused on client care, you’ll be the primary expert for all things Commercial Lines! This agency encourages career growth and they offer support to obtain and maintain designations.
This role will manage a book of 20 Large Accounts, and work with the Commercial Lines Department, including but not limited to:
Primary point of contact for insureds on complex matters, pre renewal meetings, renewal correspondence, and renewal presentations
Build and maintain relationships with carrier representative, outside vendors, internal staff, clients, and other team members
Provide support to Producers by marketing, preparing proposals, and giving presentations to new business. Bonus offered for assistance with BORs and upselling!
Delegate tasks to support team, stepping in when needed
HOURS: Full-Time Hours, Monday to Friday
DURATION: Direct Hire
WORKSITE: This position is hybrid, with 1 day in office per week.
Should there be an important team or client meeting, you must be open to coming in office or travelling to client's office. Travel costs covered by the agency!
PAY: $115,000 - $135,000/Year depending on experience

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
Minimum of 7 years working as an Account Manager or Executive, on Commercial Insurance within an independent agency working with generalized risks and lines of coverage including General Liability, Workers' Comp, CL Auto, Professional Liability, etc.
Experience with large, complex accounts, minimum of $250,000 in annual premium!
Experienced with preparing proposals, contract review, marketing, giving presentations, negotiations with underwriting
Proficiency with AMS 360 & Image Right preferred
Intermediate - Advanced MS Office Suite required
Current CA P&C License
