Responsibilities:
Tax Compliance: Prepare and review individual, trust, estate, and gift tax returns for high net worth clients to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
Tax Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership, clients and the tax team to develop comprehensive tax planning strategies that align with financial objectives and minimize tax liabilities.
Research and Analysis: Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations and conduct research to identify tax-saving opportunities and potential risks for clients.
Documentation: Maintain organized and detailed tax workpapers, documentation, and supporting materials for audits or reviews.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements and data to assess tax implications, estimate potential tax liabilities, and make recommendations for clients.
Collaboration: Work closely with our wealth management and financial planning teams to provide integrated solutions that optimize clients' overall financial well-being.
Compliance Reviews: Assist with tax audit and examination support as needed, ensuring clients are well-prepared for IRS or state tax audits.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus)
1+ years of experience in high net worth tax
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations, including income, estate, and gift taxes.
Proficiency in tax software and financial analysis tools
Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex tax concepts to clients
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple client relationships and tasks simultaneously
Ethical and professional conduct in handling sensitive client information
