What You’ll Do:

Assist Manager in day-to-day activity, sales and growth of store. The assistant store manager is responsible for store inventory, report writing, cash handling, training staff, customer service, interaction with vendors and other branches.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manages building materials warehouse, inventory, and sales of the branch.

· Works with outside sales representatives, customers, and vendor representatives to promote sales.

· Manages equipment, materials, and employees for maximum efficiency.

· Manages inventory control

· Purchasing for branch

· Payroll management for employees at branch

· Run and review reports for branch operations

· Assist with overseeing of all hiring and development of employees

· Promote an injury free workplace

· May do deliveries when needed

· Other duties as assigned.

Skills You’ll Need:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· Customer service and sales/marketing experience in building materials, concrete or construction industry preferred. Experience with order taking preferred.

· High School Diploma is minimum requirement with some college work desired.

· Three to five years working experience with building materials, concrete or construction industry desired.

· Bi-lingual with Spanish-speaking is a plus.

PERSONAL QUALITIES:

· Have the ability to communicate and interact well with others.

· Must be a self-starter who works well with minimum supervision.

· Must be able to read, write, hear, and verbally communicate in English directly or over telephone or in person.

· Must possess excellent math, verbal communications and computer skills

Salary Range: the base salary range for this role is between $70,000 - $75,000 annual salary. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors, including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
