Summary:
The Wealth and Investment Service Specialist II is responsible for the day-to-day activities and interaction between the client and Huntington Bank in terms of establishment of documentation, maintenance, and servicing of the relationship. The Service Specialist II is also responsible for maintaining a high level of knowledge of products and services to provide Service Excellence for our clients. The Service Specialist II will maintain focus and awareness of identifying, assessing, and managing risk and adhering to policies and procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Services customers by providing detailed information and building rapport
- Assists the Relationship Manager, Client Advisor, and/or Portfolio Manager by processing and maintaining accurate and complete documentation
- Responsible for identifying, researching, analyzing and resolving complex problems with accounts
- Maintains an effective rapport with clients and Huntington personnel
- Performs other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent and 2 or more years of one of the following:
- Customer Service experience in banking or financial services
- Investment experience,
- Trust administrations or estate settlement experience
OR
Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of one of the following:
- Customer Service experience in banking or financial services
- Investment experience,
- Trust administrations or estate settlement experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Excellent Customer Service, highly motivated, focused and goal oriented
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor
- Ability to work in fast paced environment with strict deadlines
- Can work independently
- Administrative experience with financial services industry preferred.
- Microsoft suite proficient
- Strong knowledge of Huntington applications
- Required when supporting Wealth Advisor Role: FINRA; Not required for any other support role
