JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
US-licensed attorney with at least 7 years of legal experience, including 3 years of experience in the financial services regulatory space.
Experience with state laws on advances, lending, loan brokering, and/or money transmission a plus.
Familiarity with consignment, auction, and marketplaces business models is also desirable. Functions:
The purpose of the role is to support the financial services integration of a recently acquired company.
Responsibilities may entail reviewing and modifying policies, procedures, and user-facing agreements; supporting the creation of new policies; coordination with audit personnel on audits; collaboration with tax and business teams regarding tax withholding issues; and facilitating the implementation of an escheatment policy.
