Accounting Analyst - Accounting Services
Responsibilities
Responsible for completing and reviewing all month-end activities, such as:
Accruals and prepayments
Detailed expense allocations
Bank Reconciliation and account reconciliation
Intercompany settlements and reconciliation
Manage Fixed Assets subledger (capitalization and depreciation/amortization entries)
Prepare month-to-date expense projections on a weekly basis
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual account variance analysis on standalone and consolidated entity level
Prepare monthly and annual Fund Administrator, Audit, and Tax support packages
Interact with various groups within and outside of Finance for expense and budget related requests and/or queries
Assist with various ad-hoc accounting projects
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with strong academic record (ideally a minimum of 3.5 GPA)
Minimum of 2-3 years of corporate accounting experience
CPA preferred or in process of obtaining license, but not required
Strong problem solving, analytical, written, verbal communications skills
Strong interpersonal and client services skills
Strong technical proficiency with MS Office (Excel) and web applications
Ability to multi-task as well as meet short deadlines in a demanding environment
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Solid analytical skills and judgment – strong attention to detail
Strong team player and also work efficiently independently
Oracle Cloud and Tableau experience is a plus but not required
The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $160,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
