An established, highly recognized hospital in the New York Metropolitan area is actively searching for an RN Manager Emergency Department.

The Nurse Manager of ED will join a hospital known for providing high-quality medical care to its patients. This includes a range of services from primary care to specialized treatments and surgeries. The 600-bed hospital engages in ongoing quality improvement efforts, which involve regularly monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of clinical improvement and workflows.

As the Nurse Manager of the Emergency Department, you will have the opportunity to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure high-quality patient care delivery. You will also create and implement resource management, staff development, compliance with healthcare regulations to optimize departmental performance and patient outcomes. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals and departments is essential to foster a cohesive and effective emergency care environment.

The ED Nurse Manager will have ANMs (Assistant Nurse Managers)to help guide an experienced staff of ED RNs, many CENs. Staff education will be led by a dynamic ED Nurse Educator. Together this RN leadership team will coordinate initiatives to optimize the busy department with 60+ FTEs and sees 110,000+ admissions annually.
