Job Summary:
As a member of the Growth & Middle Market Technology Banking team, the Events Marketing Manager is responsible primarily for the development, implementation, and management of events across the G&MMT group. In addition, they will be responsible for providing specialized administrative support of a high level to assist managers with highly complex projects and multifarious administrative duties.
Major Responsibilities:
- Contribute to strategic events marketing initiatives relative to product development, existing product enhancements, distribution channels, and brand/advertising programs in support of the assigned business unit’s goals.
- Oversee events across multiple functional areas, monitor progress, and make recommendations on workflow and timeliness to achieve completion in a timely, cost-effective, and efficient manner.
- Work with appropriate areas to monitor, analyze, and enhance efficiency and performance of assigned projects and marketing programs on an on-going basis.
- Oversee the production of events, including vendor and venue recommendations.
- Forge close and strategic partnerships with multiple internal groups, including assigned business stakeholders, legal, compliance, product, and operations
Additionally, the Events Marketing Manager on the Growth & Middle Market Technology Banking Team will provide high-level administrative support to select managers in the business unit.
Major Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced research and data analysis for special and ongoing department projects. Understand Bank’s procedures/services/policies or procedures that affect the department.
- Provide procedural matters to staff as required.
- Answer complex questions received from staff.
- Provide direct, superior-level support to assigned business area or manager. Process and coordinate department accounts payables and expense vouchers. Coordinates/maintains department budget or other record keeping functions. Provide research on exception expense amounts/charges.
- Monitor events budgets and review general expenditures to ensure they are within budgeted guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of event management experience. A minimum of 5 years of financial services experience is preferred.
- Experience working with internal risk, compliance, and legal stakeholders.
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Ability to influence others and achieve business outcomes on time and within budget Requires excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an organized and efficient manner.
- High level of proficiency in all Microsoft Office products.
The typical base pay range for this role is between $93K - $117K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
