Responsibilities:
Process business activity through the general ledger to the financial statements on cash and accrual basis.
Prepare bank reconciliations for all cash accounts, create journal entries, and maintain prepaid accrual schedules.
Produce timely and accurate monthly financial reports
Assist in the set-up of bank accounts, accounting systems, and financial reports
Review and approve all accounts payable, payment disbursements
Prepare, review, and assist with annual recovery reconciliations and estimated billings.
Reconcile general ledger accounts with supporting schedules monthly.
Timely preparation of monthly standard reporting packages and response to managers’ and clients’ inquiries.
Assist with annual budgets, prepare audit packages, and provide lender reports as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance preferred but not required.
Thorough understanding of GAAP.
Industry experience or multi entity accounting a plus
Must have a strong work ethic, be self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Google Apps (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets)
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Highly analytical and possess superb attention to detail, organization and multitasking abilities
