Overview
THE ROLE:
The Principal II, Adobe Architect is responsible for:
- Technology evaluation and Defining solution architecture: Demonstrating strong grasp of software technology architect skills, strong problem solving with critical thinking decision making skills to analyze sophisticated situations crafting elegant solutions. You will be responsible for translating client content management requirements into technical designs which includes enterprise-level architecture and implementing strategies using Adobe product suite (AEM, Launch, target, work front etc.) to support multi-site, multi-channel, multi-lingual delivery environments for Herbalife products. You will serve as an Adobe domain guide and will take ownership of defining end-to-end architecture for the web platform and provide technology leadership, influence thinking and lead/mentor teams of front- and back-end developers.
- Ensuring performance, scalability, and security: Responsible for crafting scalable solutions to support (including post-launch operational support alongside engineering teams) our Digital Office Business initiatives and product teams regionally and globally.
HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:
- Develop Digital Consumer experiences using Adobe’s AEM product suite, including WCM, DAM and Social Collaboration.
- Working closely with internal business partners from product, marketing, vendor teams globally, to understand the use cases and build end-to-end solutions.
- Being responsible for the Conceptualization of solutions architecture, evaluate technology choices tradeoffs, evaluating design decisions, defining software characteristics tradeoffs and governance of architecture compliance.
- Partnering with engineering and enterprise architecture to propose and evaluate tradeoffs for solution design decisions to operationally resilient implementations.
- Develop powerful features such as multi-site and multi-channel delivery, personalization/targeting, content aggregation & syndication, multi-lingual support, automated workflow management, social media etc.
- Work collaboratively in a team and receive feedback about your work.
- Is responsible for the efforts for design and planning implementation of software architecture best practices, innovative industry standards, and enterprise governance compliance within the team.

The role is part of the Digital Office Engineering team which is responsible for developing the next generation of applications using MACH and Cloud native architectural practices, combining state of art latest technologies with compelling experiences. The team is a globally distributed, highly committed and goal focused group across a diverse set of backgrounds.
Qualifications
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Proficient with confirmed understanding of Adobe AEM (Sites, Assets, AEM Forms, Core/Custom Components Development) and other Adobe suite products (Analytics, Target, Campaign, Workfront) to make appropriate technical decisions.
- Strong career progression of an engineer to architecture specific roles demonstrating firm technical grasp to make technical specification and design documentation adhering to modern cloud native architectural paradigms and patterns.
- Familiarity with modern full stack frameworks and customer facing applications and experience delivered across various channels.
- Deep understanding of Adobe AEM-WCM development and deployment process capabilities including Multi-site manager, SSR/CSR frontends and Blueprinting, building blocks including templates, headless-hybrid components, widgets, etc.
- Proficient knowledge preferred of the end-to-end content lifecycle, omnichannel ecommerce architectures, web content management, PIM solutions for content publishing / deployment (Inriver and Adobe AEM etc), and delivery processes. content authoring, ERP systems.
- Interact and partner with clients to create end-to-end specifications for content & collaboration solutions and present architectural decisions to partners.
- Proficient knowledge of the end-to-end content lifecycle, web content management, content publishing / deployment, and delivery processes.
- Good understanding of integration patterns and content-centric application development patterns using Adobe products with or without a Portal, Search, Commerce package or other platforms, is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with multi-functional teams: Solution architects must collaborate with various teams to ensure the successful implementation of technology solutions.
- Diagnose and solve technical problems related to content management implementation.
- A keen eye for detail and a dedication to quality and continuous improvement: Solution architects must ensure that the solutions they craft meet performance, scalability, and security requirements while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
Experience:
- Overall 10+ years of software engineering experience or architecture related roles and release cycle and 4+ years using Adobe products in Technical architecture or IC leadership roles for large, global teams.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
