Responsibilities
We are currently seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for an IC mission in Columbia, MD.
Responsibilities may include:
Provide support for a program, organization, system, or enclave's information assurance program.
Provide support for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
Perform or review technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations and recommend mitigation strategies.
Provide security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management. Recommends system-level solutions to resolve security requirements.
Provide configuration management (CM) for information systems security software, hardware, and manages changes to systems and assess the security impact of those changes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of ISSO experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Five (5) years experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
DoD 8570.01-M compliance with IAT Level 1 or higher is required.
A+ CE, OR CCNA-Security OR CND OR Network+ CE OR SSCP
Knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols is required.
Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
