The San Diego Unified School District has two 12-month full time positions available for Maintenance & Operations Program Assistant.
The Physical Plant Operations Department is seeking an experienced individual to assist in determining need for and procure materials, supplies, equipment, and services and perform clerical functions for a variety of maintenance programs; maintain a specialized record-keeping system.
This is a promotional/open opportunity, which means that current monthly-salaried employees receive precedence over other candidates on the eligible list.
For a promotional/open posting, the top ten internal applicants will be provided unless there is an insufficient number and then the list will be supplemented with the top external applicants to make up the ten (Employment Regulations for the Classified Service of the San Diego Unified School District: Article 2, Section 9).

Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to three years of recent paid, clerical and manual work experience in a maintenance, construction, purchasing, or warehouse setting.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid California driver’s license.
